Made in Alaska, my Suncatchers are a unique blend of primitive, abstract art. A piece of history resides in the glass creating them. Treasures come from townsites of the mining era like the AJ & Treadwell Mines in Juneau. I also take treasures from the ocean depths or beaches of Alaska - all have been tumbled until smooth in the sand. Ages date from the early 1800's. If glass could talk one can only imagine the stories they would tell!Tossed from passenger ships, forgotten at the mines and abandoned at bordellos, they are the broken leftovers of Pioneers, passing through Alaska. Silver soldered, lead free, materials are recycled & environmentaly safe.
